The painter

No wonder that the award-winning American designer always focuses on nature

Terrine | Belle Epoque Lotos There is hardly any materialThe painter, architect and sculptor Hermann Gradl designed the BELLE EPOQUE fish service in the first year he worked for the Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg. Presented in 1900 at the Paris World Exhibition and awarded a "Grand Prix", it is one of the most successful examples of the floral Art Nouveau in Munich, to which its name also refers. The fish platter, saucire and potato bowl as well as the 16 plates later expanded to a service for 18 people
